NS BlueScope and the ASEAN Association of Architects have teamed up to design an award program aimed at celebrating and sharing knowledge about steel architecture in the ASEAN region, covering Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.

SUBMISSION PERIOD
22 FEBRUARY - 20 JULY 2024
Building project submission criteria:
- Building projects completed since the beginning of 2019 using BlueScope premium steel materials and solutions.
- Except for Lasting Beauty COLORBOND®️ steel, building projects completed before 2019 are eligible.
Who can apply for the award:
- Any contributors to the building projects (e.g., architect, project owner, main contractor, roll former, etc.)
- with proper consent from the project owner and architects.
Who will receive award recognition:
- The architect firm of the winning project.
- The project owner company of the winning project.
- Main contractors and other stakeholders who played a critical role in delivering the winning design can be recognized at the award ceremony.
Judging Criteria
Aesthetics of the building
Visualization of building design based on the owner's vision utilizing premium BlueScope steel, enhancing architectural beauty.
Smart Efficiency
Efficiency through technology and the selection of BlueScope steel innovation in construction, supported by intelligent energy management systems.
Sustainability
Utilization of environmentally friendly materials, sustainable
Humanity & Community
Positive impact on building users, local communities, and the environment surrounding the building area.

The Steel Architecture Awards is a celebration for steel architects in the ASEAN region, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, in collaboration with NS BlueScope. This award aims to honor and share knowledge about steel architecture.
All parties involved in building projects, such as architects, project owners, main contractors, and others, can register as candidates, provided they have obtained valid approval from the project owner (building) and the architect themselves.
Winners involved, such as project company owners, main contractors, and other stakeholders, will be recognized during the awards ceremony.
